A garden is not just a venue for showcasing your green thumb and your passion for the craft. It can also be a sacred space where you’re free to give it a bit of your own personality with the use of different architectural styles and decorative materials. Everyone likes a nice beautiful garden, where you can not only smell the flowers and adore the different plant life, but also recognize the hard work and masterful effort put into its landscaping process.
To set an example, we have the work of award-winning garden landscapist, Ian Barker. His architectural garden, ‘Reflection’, has won the 2016 gold medal award at the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show. Almost resembling an art installation, the garden makes use of granite pathways and reflective water works–hence, the name, ‘Reflection’. It also features several key plants of Spring colors, a boathouse and even a wooden rowboat. The perfect splash (pun-intended) of creativity and attention to detail, this garden totally deserves its double page spread feature in one of Australia’s leading gardening publications–a bigger venue for inspiring fellow garden enthusiasts and landscapists. Without a doubt, we’re giving this breath-taking garden our two green thumbs up!
